What a beautiful gift for a newborn baby. So many useful things. The lovely poem brought a tear to my eye and will be framed and put on my son’s nursery wall. Thank you so much.

An irresponsible waste of money. There are people who genuinely need real help and they could be having much more assistance if these weren’t on offer to everyone to the tune of £10m+. The initial concept was to provide a box for the baby to sleep in for safety but I wonder how many boxes will actually be used for that purpose. If they’re not as the baby is going to sleep in a cot then the parents didn’t need a free gift.

Well done Scottish Government and the SNP.. I am very proud of this achievement.

  • Elaine Malcolm says:

This is a wonderful gift to new parents. Would it be possible to arrange one for premature babies. The parents need different things and its such a stressful time they need all the support they can get.

  • Laura Dunbar says:

Just seen my grandson-to-be’s baby box. Very impressed – what a useful range of items and such good quality. Well done , SNP! It’s a beautiful way to “hansel” a new, wee Scot into the world. Thank you
