Countdown to Cyber Scotland Week 2020

4 weeks to go until Cyber Scotland Week 2020!

On the 17 February, Cyber Scotland Week will kick off a week-long celebration of all things cyber.

Throughout the 17-23 February, events will be taking place all across the country with the aim of raising awareness of good practice, showcasing innovative work that is happening across Scotland’s cyber sector, promoting skills development and a career in cyber security.

Building on last year’s success which saw over 30 events taking place in Aberdeen, Edinburgh; Glasgow; Inverness; Midlothian; Orkney; Perth; St Andrews; Stirling and Tweedbank, there are already a wide range of events from signed up and many more on their way. This year, conferences such as Holyrood Connect Public Sector Cyber Security, Scot-Secure and the Gathering are part of Cyber Scotland Week. This provides everyone from each sector an opportunity to find out what is happening in the cyber

There were also social media campaigns by a wide range of stakeholders across the public, private and third sectors. Cyber Scotland Week 2019 received considerable media attention, featuring in national newspapers such as the Herald and the Scotsman. It was also featured on BBC Scotland News and on BBC Radio Scotland.

There is still time for you to be involved. There are various ways that you can, whether that is an exercise with your colleagues, a workshop with your customers or pushing out key messages on your social media channels. You can get some inspiration here.
