Cyber Resilience Notice COVID-19

May 6, 2020 by No Comments | Category Cyber Resilience, Cyber resilience communications, Cyber Resilient Business, cyber threats and news

The Scottish Government’s Cyber Resilience Unit is producing a regular ‘Cyber Resilience Notice’ for business organisations, public sector organisations, charities and the general public.

As a result of the significant rise in COVID-19 related scams, over the next few months, the Scottish Government Cyber Resilience Unit is sharing important information from trusted sources.

The National Cyber Security Centre, Police Scotland and Trading Standards Scotland are recognised authorities on cyber security, cyber-crime and scams respectively and we are working with them and others to identify and disseminate the latest updates on cyber scams, provide advice on how to prevent or mitigate the impact of the scams and associated threats exploiting the current situation.

We’ll be publishing the notices below every week.

Read this week’s notice here.
