You can find the videos on our video wall.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to all those who took part.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Community space<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We heard loud and clear from you yesterday that you want a community space to continue the conversations that were started and to figure out the next steps together. The team behind the unconference put our heads together this morning and came up with 3\u00a0potential\u00a0options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a slack group<\/li>\n<li>a Facebook group<\/li>\n<li>a Linkedin group<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Let us know which one you\u2019d prefer on this <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfJIwQjNgUWnQlITqtA6W2rjDRPOwomL3a9xV_FHEPYTMgjsA\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">Google Form<\/a> or suggest something else if you can think of a better space for the community.<\/p>\n<p>We will be sending an invite to this community to everyone who attended the event and those who wanted to but couldn\u2019t make it. If you don\u2019t want to be included in this, let us know and we\u2019ll remove your name from the list. Likewise if you want to be included, email <a href=\"mailto:laurna.robertson@gov.scot\">laurna.robertson@gov.scot<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Diversity statistics for the Scottish Government\u2019s Digital Directorate<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Yesterday in the conclusion of the diversity unconference, the Scottish Government\u2019s Digital Director Colin Cook released the diversity data for the Digital Directorate. Here it is in full (the gaps are where there are people in groups with less than 10 \u2013 we can\u2019t release this data because it could mean that people risk being identified):<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Gender<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>35.8% Female<\/li>\n<li>64.2% Male<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This compares to 51% of the Scottish Government\u2019s workforce being female.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Disability<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>81.5% not disabled<\/li>\n<li>17.0% disabled<\/li>\n<li>1.5% prefer not to say<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Ethnicity<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>84.2% white<\/li>\n<li>12.3% unknown<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Sexual orientation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>3.8% Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and other sexual orientations<\/li>\n<li>60.4% hetrosexual\/straight<\/li>\n<li>2.9% prefer not to say<\/li>\n<li>32.9% unknown<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We would encourage you to push for your organisation to do the same. This gives your organisation\u00a0a clear, public\u00a0benchmark and will help identify where you need to target your efforts to become more diverse. As part of <a href=\"https:\/\/beta.gov.scot\/news\/digital-strategy-launched\/\">the Scottish Government\u2019s Digital Strategy<\/a>, all central government bodies will need to gather and publish digital workforce diversity data annually.
