We can do this by making sure that the things we do, create or build are all measurable and realise a series of benefits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">We\u2019ve called these <i>performance measures;<\/i>\u00a0they will be used by our team to assure everything from our direction of travel, through to individual features that are made available through released products or services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Our programme level performance measures cover:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">iterating on products (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mygov.scot\/\"><span class=\"s3\">www.mygov.scot<\/span><\/a>)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">moving websites through transitioning (<span class=\"s2\">www.directscot.org<\/span>)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">future transactional services<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">future performance platform data sets<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The programme performance measures are linked to our policy objectives within the <span class=\"s2\">measurement and benefits framework<\/span> of \u201cScotland\u2019s Digital Future: Delivery of Public Services\u201d. This helps us ensure we are in sync with national objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Individual performance measures are then linked to benefits contained within our business case \u2013 helping to ensure we are realising the specific benefits of the programme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Our performance measures contain goals, KPIs, metrics, baselines, targets, target periods, review dates and list data sources.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">KPIs are as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Product<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">user satisfaction<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">sessions (organic, referral and social)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">new users<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">cost-per-session<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Transition<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">session retention (search)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">user retention<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">content items ratio<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Transactional services (future)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">user satisfaction<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">completion rate<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">cost-per-transaction<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">digital take-up<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Performance platform (future)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">transactional services<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">transactional services (with KPIs)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">transactional services (with KPIs) \u2013 manual<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">transactional services (with KPIs) \u2013 automated<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">These are being tracked within shareable spreadsheets, but the ambition is to make these available more publicly in due course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>We\u2019ll be sharing updates on this, and much more on social, so follow the team via <\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mygovscot\"><span class=\"s2\"><i>@mygovscot on Twitter<\/i><\/span><\/a><i> for more updates.
