{"id":2319,"date":"2018-10-17T06:39:01","date_gmt":"2018-10-17T06:39:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/digital\/?p=2319"},"modified":"2020-03-10T08:14:24","modified_gmt":"2020-03-10T08:14:24","slug":"online-identity-assurance-opportunity-to-attend-next-national-stakeholder-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/digital\/2018\/10\/17\/online-identity-assurance-opportunity-to-attend-next-national-stakeholder-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Online Identity Assurance \u2013 opportunity to attend next National Stakeholder Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As work of the Online Identity Assurance programme approaches the start of the prototyping \u2018alpha\u2019 phase next month, it\u2019s that time again for our <a href=\"https:\/\/beta.gov.scot\/groups\/online-identity-assurance-national-stakeholder-group\/\">National Stakeholder Group<\/a>\u00a0 meeting.<\/p>\n<p>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/digital\/2018\/08\/29\/online-identity-assurance-join-us-in-our-proof-of-concept-phase\/\">last blog<\/a> \u00a0post, we outlined the work we were planning to do with <a href=\"https:\/\/oixuk.org\/\">Open Identity Exchange<\/a> (OIX). Since then, the project team has held 2 workshops in Edinburgh with OIX, and the outputs are being used to shape the partnership approach to delivering the alpha work.\u00a0 The alpha itself is planned to run from November 2018, for 6 months.\u00a0 At its next meeting, the National Stakeholder Group will continue to inform the design, direction and prioritisation of this work.\u00a0 This is part of the Scottish Government\u2019s commitment to work with stakeholders, privacy interests and members of the public to develop the identity assurance approach.<\/p>\n<p>The next National Stakeholder Group meeting is on Wednesday 31<sup>st<\/sup> October from 9.45am \u2013 12.45pm, at <a href=\"https:\/\/dovecotstudios.com\/\">Dovecot Studios<\/a>, Edinburgh.
