This achievement celebrates the incredible dedication and innovation of our team in making\u00a0public\u00a0services more accessible and user-friendly for the people of Scotland.\u00a0Congratulations to all the winners and those who were shortlisted\u00a0alongside\u00a0the\u00a0ScotAccount\u00a0team &#8211;\u00a0your hard work and commitment are truly inspiring!\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Built for people, with people<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Our work to develop and deliver\u00a0ScotAccount\u00a0includes robust testing and applying ongoing improvements to ensure\u00a0ScotAccount\u00a0is reliable,\u00a0accessible\u00a0and easy to use.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">To achieve this,\u00a0we\u2019ve\u00a0engaged with a diverse group of users with varying needs, and to date, over 1,100\u00a0people have\u00a0participated\u00a0in in-depth user research.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We&#8217;ve\u00a0also included people who have used the service in our research and conduct regular\u00a0user\u00a0surveys to gain insights as we release service improvements and new features.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">As we\u00a0continue\u00a0to\u00a0add new services for people to access through\u00a0ScotAccount, user insights will continue to shape the development of\u00a0ScotAccount, ensuring it meets the needs of public services and their users.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We\u2019ll\u00a0be sharing more insights on our approach to user research and continuous improvement in a future blog.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Real impact<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Launched by the Scottish Government in 2023,\u00a0ScotAccount\u00a0provides a secure,\u00a0simple way\u00a0for people to access public services online. It allows users to sign in with a single account, verify their identity, if needed, and control their information, reducing duplication and inefficiencies across services in the Scottish public sector.\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ScotAccount\u00a0exemplifies innovative, reusable, scalable digital infrastructure, offering biometric and non-biometric verification, and enabling verified data to be reused across services. It addresses\u00a0previous\u00a0barriers where multiple logins\u00a0and\u00a0repeated identity checks\u00a0hindered users and services.
