Earth Hour 2017

March 27, 2017 by No Comments | Category Uncategorized

Earth Hour took place on Saturday (25 March) and the Scottish Government joined thousands across Scotland and millions across the world in taking part.

Organised by WWF, Earth Hour aims to raise awareness of climate change and its impacts at home and across the globe. Now in its tenth year, the event encourages individuals, organisations and communities to show their support by committing to the gesture of switching off all non-essential lighting for the hour.

To celebrate the symbolic event, where possible – and subject to our health and safety and security commitments – we switched off all lights in our offices at 8.30pm for one hour.
