Environmental Management

About us

The Scottish Government’s Environmental Management Team is responsible for measuring, reporting and acting on the impact that our activities as an organisation have on the environment.

We have a target to reduce our carbon emissions by 30% by 2020 (based on 2009/10 levels). To achieve this target we are investing in energy efficiency projects, promoting sustainable travel and behavioural change as well as improving the biodiversity of our estate.

    Hi
I represent a new electric bike shop recently opened in Edinburgh city centre named Electron Wheels. I was wondering if it would be possible if we came to your offices and do a test ride day for your staff. Ideally we would set up in your car park with a popup display tent and in your staff lunch area with a bike and a popup banner around lunch time and then offer test rides of our electric bikes until the end of the day. We will be doing the same thing for Fife council staff next Wednesday in Glenrothes.

We are a cycle scheme redgested business if you would like to check on there website, you can also find information about us at electronwheels.co.uk. If you have any questions I can be reached at this email address or on 0131 6227495.

    Thanks
