In June, we notified stakeholders that we had appointed economic consultancy firm EKOS<\/a> to undertake an evaluation of the impact that European Social Fund (ESF) and European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) support has had on SMEs and the long-term unemployed in Scotland.<\/p>\n

Many stakeholders will have assisted EKOS during the course of the evaluation and we would like to thank everyone who helped to make the report as comprehensive as possible.<\/p>\n

The evaluation report of the impact on SMEs and long-term unemployed has now been published and is available online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Further evaluations of aspects of the 2014-20 ESF and ERDF Programmes in Scotland can be found on our website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

EKOS will soon undertake another evaluation to identify the benefits that have been delivered through the low carbon elements of the programmes, highlighting good practice and lessons for the future.<\/p>\n
