It focuses support in two ways: supporting and advising job seeking clients with all aspects of employability skills; and engaging with and supporting local businesses in recruiting and retaining staff to aid business growth.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to ESF support, the Hub helps people like Douglas, who had been redundant for eight months after losing his job as a hotel manager and whose confidence was extremely low as a result. The Hub helped Douglas to enhance his CV and supported him with job applications, one-on-one interview technique workshops and a mock interview. Douglas had only been looking for work in the hospitality sector but after the Hub explained about all of his transferable skills, this widened his job search.
