{"id":580,"date":"2021-07-14T10:29:39","date_gmt":"2021-07-14T09:29:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/funeral-industry\/?p=580"},"modified":"2021-07-14T10:29:39","modified_gmt":"2021-07-14T09:29:39","slug":"first-minister-announces-further-easing-of-restrictions-from-19-july-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/funeral-industry\/2021\/07\/14\/first-minister-announces-further-easing-of-restrictions-from-19-july-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"First Minister announces further easing of restrictions from 19 July 2021."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday (13 July 2021) the First Minister of Scotland announced that all of Scotland will move to a slightly modified <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.scot\/publications\/coronavirus-covid-19-protection-levels\/pages\/protection-level-0\/\">Protection Level 0<\/a> on 19 July 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The easings from 19 July 2021 which the funeral sector will wish to be aware of specifically are:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Up to 200 people will be able to attend funeral services and post-funeral gatherings, with physical distancing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General physical distancing requirements in public spaces, including regulated venues (e.g. crematoriums) will be reduced from 2 metres to 1 metre, both indoors and outdoors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General gatherings limits on outdoor gatherings in a public space will be 15 people from 15 households. Additionally, there are no requirements to physically distance outside within a social grouping of up to 15 people, but\u00a01 metre distancing should be maintained from all others outside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Limits on outdoor gatherings at a private dwelling (private gathering) will be 15 people from 15 households. No physical distancing is required at private dwellings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Limits on indoor gatherings at a private dwelling will be 8 people from 4 households.
