{"id":3100,"date":"2022-12-12T15:30:27","date_gmt":"2022-12-12T15:30:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/health-social-care\/?p=3100"},"modified":"2023-01-26T13:48:29","modified_gmt":"2023-01-26T13:48:29","slug":"equipment-and-adaptations-consultation-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/health-social-care\/2022\/12\/12\/equipment-and-adaptations-consultation-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Equipment and Adaptations Guidance Published"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our consultation on revised guidance on the Provision of Community Equipment and Adaptations closed on 6 June 2022, with a total of 67 responses received, and you can read the published responses, and Summary Report on the <a href=\"https:\/\/consult.gov.scot\/mental-health-unit\/equipment-and-adaptions-guidance-review\/consultation\/published_select_respondent\">Consultation Hub web page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the responses to the Consultation Survey have been very positive. Respondents were asked for their views on all sections, and whether they felt the information in the proposed Guidance was clear, relevant ,and addressed the issues. Across all responses, the average response rate for a combination of \u2018completely\u2019 and \u2018mostly\u2019,\u00a0 was 86%. The remaining average of 14%,\u00a0 was for those who responded \u2018somewhat\u2019 or \u2018a little\u2019, and only 1 respondent out of 67, commented \u2018not at all\u2019 for some of the sections.<\/p>\n<p>The comments provided by respondents were supportive of the principles of the Guidance and new format with better recognition of a range of key issues reflected in the document.
