{"id":11146,"date":"2020-06-02T10:00:23","date_gmt":"2020-06-02T09:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/marine-scotland\/?p=11146"},"modified":"2023-08-25T17:13:57","modified_gmt":"2023-08-25T16:13:57","slug":"boarding-safely-in-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/marine-scotland\/2020\/06\/02\/boarding-safely-in-the-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Boarding Safely in the Future"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As an organisation that deals with regulation and enforcement, the COVID-19 pandemic has created some challenges for us and we are committed to doing everything we can to limit the spread of the virus, and to protect our own people as they carry out their duties.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst we haven\u2019t stopped all of our surveillance and operations, in order to ensure the safety of both fishers and our staff alike, we have adapted our process of inspections at sea and in port in line with government guidance.
