The non-executive members are to be appointed to the MSCC on the basis of their personal expertise to provide independent input into the work of the Committee. They will have a breadth of experience at a senior level of marine science, in particular in academia and non-governmental organisations. We are looking for expertise in natural and\/or socio-economic science. There will be an allowance of \u00a3237 per full day meeting plus half a days preparation time as well as travel and subsistence. The total number of days per year should not exceed ten. The appointment is for three years and the successful applicants will start on 1 July 2014.<\/p>\n<p>An Information Pack and an Application Form are available from the MSCC web-site. Closing date: 09.30am, Monday 17 March 2014.
