This follows a\u00a0<\/span>successful presentation\u00a0of the same project at the Royal Geographical Society Annual Conference in London, by Jacqueline and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abdn.ac.uk\/geosciences\/people\/profiles\/tavis.potts\">Tavis Potts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Jacqueline Tweddle, \u00a0in her capacity as co-organiser of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.challenger-society.org.uk\/marine_science_policy\">Marine Science and Policy Special Interest Group<\/a>, also co-organised an Early Career Researcher (ECR) event at the conference which was attended by around 100 ECR members of the Challenger Society. She\u00a0spent time talking to them about the options available to them to support marine management and policy with their science and\u00a0\u00a0if you would like to be a member of this Group, please <a href=\"mailto:jftweddle@abdn.ac.uk\">get in touch<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The conference dinner event was well attended by those from the University of Aberdeen and Marine Scotland, with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gov.scot\/Topics\/marine\/science\/Researchers\/BeeBerx\">Dr Bee Berx<\/a> being awarded a Challenger Society Fellowship, in recognition of her achievements and future promise in her field.
