{"id":1883,"date":"2016-05-16T14:10:08","date_gmt":"2016-05-16T13:10:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/planningarchitecture\/?p=1883"},"modified":"2018-02-20T13:58:32","modified_gmt":"2018-02-20T13:58:32","slug":"national-development-plan-forum-april-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/planning-architecture\/2016\/05\/16\/national-development-plan-forum-april-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"National Development Plan Forum \u2013 April 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The latest National Development Plan Forum was held at Atlantic Quay in Glasgow on 29<\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> April. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">The forum provided the opportunity for Planning Authorities and Agencies from across the country to get together and discuss relevant issues affecting Development Planning and share experiences and good practice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The day was chaired by Dorothy McDonald, Assistant Manager at Clydeplan. Over 60 delegates attended, representing the vast majority of Planning Authorities as well as the Improvement Service, COSLA, and agencies including SNH, SEPA, Transport Scotland, Historic Environment Scotland, Forestry Commission Scotland and Scottish Water.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Presentations were given by a mix of Scottish Government and Local Authority officers, covering housing supply, Transport Appraisal, Simplified Planning Zones, LDP 2\u2019s and Strategic Environmental Assessment.
