The events are for anyone involved in the planning process, whether that be local authorities, agencies, academics, voluntary sector and private sector.\u00a0 We cover a variety of topics during the events, with the agenda and speakers changing each time. Contributions from our stakeholder audience are actively encouraged.<\/p>\n<p>The events can cover:-<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Scottish Government planning purpose<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Development Planning<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Planning Legislation<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Planning Decisions<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Planning Appeals<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0National Planning Framework<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Scottish Planning Policy<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Strategic Environmental Assessment<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0ePlanning<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Place Making<\/p>\n<p>We have opened registration for our next\u00a03 events at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gov.scot\/About\/Locations\/victoria-quay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Victoria Quay in Edinburgh<\/a>.;-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>7th February 2017<\/li>\n<li>18th April 2017<\/li>\n<li>6th June 2017<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The sessions run from 9:30 to 16:30, with a half hour for lunch.\u00a0 Attendance is free but you will be expected to cover your own travel, accommodation and meal costs.<\/p>\n<p>To book a place on an event please contact us by emailing <a href=\"mailto:chief.planner@gov.scot\">chief.planner@gov.scot<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Through-out the year Planning and Architecture Division hold a series of Introductory Events.
