These initial\u00a0 sessions looked at mapping internal s75 processes, clarifying aims and identifying potential change ideas. Participating authorities are now moving on to testing their change ideas at the local level.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">We are also shortly commencing work with a fourth local Authority, East Dunbartonshire. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Anonymous feedback on the initial workshops from one participant: <i>\u2018Very useful demonstration of how we can look at our aims, issues etc and break each of them down. Interesting to see how many ideas came up in a short space of time\u2019 <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Next steps<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Participating authorities are refining thoughts on aims, process maps\u00a0 and clarifying and developing change ideas.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The next step is to start the first phase of change idea testing, using \u2018Plan Do Study Act\u2019 principles. Please get in touch with us if you require help or advice with this process. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Sharing<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">We would appreciate if authorities could share their work on aims, process mapping and change ideas with Scottish Government.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">As well as that, we would like to provide further updates on individual change ideas and lessons learned in future newsletters . \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">We are inviting all our participating Authorities to:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contact the Scottish Government with any write ups from sessions, future Change Ideas, or testing cycles.<\/li>\n<li>Disseminate information on the project within your organisations<\/li>\n<li>Get in touch with areas you would like to hear more about in terms of good practice<\/li>\n<li>Contact the Scottish Government with information you are willing to share across the participants so that we can learn collectively<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information on the project please contact <a href=\"mailto:lorna.aird@gov.scot\">lorna.aird@gov.scot<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Initial workshops Initial workshops were held in April \/ May with Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeenshire Councils.
