The GO Awards 2024/25 took place at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow on 24 October. Procurement and supply professionals from across the country came together to celebrate the very best procurement achievements from across Scotland’s public, private and third sector organisations!
We’d like to wish all of the winners a huge congratulations. The Go Awards recognise the outstanding efforts and achievements of those in our profession who have gone above and beyond all year round to maximise the Power of Procurement.
Our Utilities team in the Scottish Procurement and Property Directorate won the ‘Best Procurement Delivery Award’ for our Water and Wastewater Framework.
“The utilities team are honoured to receive the ‘Best Procurement Delivery Award 2024’ and the recognition it brings to the knowledge and expertise it takes to award and manage the utility frameworks, which continue to deliver financial savings and community benefits to framework customers. We will continue our commitment to excellence, collaborative working and innovation in every project and procurement we undertake”. The Utilities team

Our congratulations also go to our very own Angus Mackenzie, Senior Portfolio Specialist within our Major Programmes Implementation team who won the ‘Procurement People of Tomorrow’ award!
“I am incredibly honoured to receive this award. I joined the profession shortly after leaving school through the Modern Apprenticeship Programme, and have always been grateful for the opportunity I was given. I’d like to give a massive thank you to my colleagues for their unwavering support throughout my career, It’s greatly appreciated and never taken for granted. I’m now trying to give back to the programme that I’ve benefitted so much from. I’m looking forward to continuing the work with the Procurement People of Tomorrow Programme to bring more people into the profession.” Angus Mackenzie, Senior Portfolio Specialist
