Procurement and Commercial Training Framework – key dates and next steps
October 20, 2025 by Scottish Procurement No Comments | Category framework agreements, Procurement news, Scottish Procurement
The Scottish Government’s Procurement and Commercial Training Framework is set to run until December 2025, providing continued access to essential training and development for procurement and commercial professionals across the public sector and is aligned to the National Procurement Competency Framework.
Framework expiry dates
The framework is broken down into two lots:
- Lot 1 – Procurement training (single supplier)
- Lot 2 – Sustainable procurement including climate change training (single supplier)
The Scottish Government is now tendering for the re-let of the framework, with a new framework expected to be in place from February 2026.
Interim arrangements
If your organisation requires training or other learning interventions before the new framework begins, please ensure your call-off contracts are finalised before the current framework expires.
To avoid disruption to your training plans, we strongly encourage you to book your training courses as soon as possible.
Future opportunities
Suppliers and training providers interested in the upcoming framework opportunity are invited to register their interest on Public Contracts Scotland.
