Initial tendering will focus on reletting the existing IT hardware frameworks for Thin Client Devices and Web Based and Proprietary Client Devices. We have started engaging with stakeholders and are now seeking market views. To support this we recently issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk\/search\/show\/search_view.aspx?ID=APR351269\">Prior Information Notice<\/a> (PIN) and Request for Information (RFI).<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s in scope:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.scot\/publications\/thin-client-devices-framework\/\">Thin Client Device Framework<\/a> will provide a range of thin client devices and operating systems<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.scot\/publications\/web-based-and-proprietary-devices-framework\/\">Web Based and Proprietary Client Device Framework<\/a> will provide a range of web based and proprietary client devices<\/li>\n<li>Both frameworks will also include a range of accessories and all services associated with the deployment of the devices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We want views and comments from suppliers interested in participating &#8211; particularly on the technology, community benefits, commercial arrangements and sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>Suppliers should read the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk\/search\/show\/search_view.aspx?ID=APR351269\">PIN<\/a> and complete the RFI document.
