The renewed Commodities for Supported Businesses framework<\/a> was awarded in late December 2018. The framework will run for an initial period of two years, expiring in December 2020, with the option to extend to December 2022.<\/p>\n

A wide range of quality goods and services will be provided through the framework which is divided into four lots:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Lot 1 – furniture and associated products
\n\u2022 Lot 2 – document management
\n\u2022 Lot 3 – personal protective equipment and uniforms
\n\u2022 Lot 4 – signage<\/p>\n

Good for communities<\/strong><\/p>\n

In providing high quality goods and services at competitive prices, supported businesses in Scotland play a valuable role in assisting disabled and disadvantaged people to integrate into the labour market. In turn this helps deliver positive outcomes for individuals and our communities.<\/p>\n

Supported businesses make an important contribution to the Scottish economy. Not only through the goods and services they deliver, but by providing meaningful employment, training and social support for those who may otherwise be excluded from the workplace.<\/p>\n
