On 14 September 2017 we issued the OJEU notice<\/a> for the Digital Services \u2013 Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

About the Digital Services – DPS<\/h2>\n

The DPS is the first of its kind for us. It is a collaborative system available for all Scottish public sector bodies to use.<\/p>\n

The scope of the DPS is to provide Digital Services and Cyber Security Services and it is open to any supplier, that can provide these services, to join. The system will operate fully electronically with the default being the PCS-Tender system. However buyers will be able to utilise other electronic formats.<\/p>\n

Who can use it?<\/h2>\n

There is no limit to the number of suppliers that can participate in the DPS \u2013 and suppliers can join at any time during the life of the DPS. Suppliers simply have to complete an ESPD (Scotland) application and provide some evidence of experience in delivering the in scope services.<\/p>\n

The DPS will be split in to 3 lots:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Digital Services<\/li>\n
  2. Digital Resources<\/li>\n
  3. Cyber Security Services<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Services are then procured by means of a call for competition via the particular lot that provides the services they require.<\/p>\n

    When is it available?<\/h2>\n

    It is expected that the DPS will be available to Scottish public sector organisations by late October 2017.<\/p>\n
