There are eight categories including a new one &#8211; Small Business and Third Sector. This new category is for businesses and social enterprises with fewer than 20 employees.<\/p>\n<p>The awards are free to enter and recognise the innovation and excellence of suppliers who go the extra mile to support the delivery of public services.<\/p>\n<p>Councillor John Shaw, Convener of Scotland Excel, said: \u201cScotland Excel is at the forefront of procurement for local government and we work hard to ensure public procurement supports the sustainable delivery of quality services across Scotland\u2019s communities.
