Now the question on everyone\u2019s mind is: \u201cWhat next?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Over 1,100 attendees made face-to-face contact with public sector buyers. You learned about upcoming contract and framework opportunities. You heard terms like &#8216;forward plan\u2019 and \u2019Public Contracts Scotland\u2019. Now you&#8217;re buzzing with new found information and leads. Now you can turn to the Supplier Development Programme to help you bid better and to learn how to become \u2019tender ready\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>We offer a wide range of free training. Increasingly, public bodies work with us to align training to upcoming tender opportunities. Here\u2019s a few examples:<\/p>\n<h4>Tender training for Police Scotland Deceased Persons contract<\/h4>\n<p>The Scottish Police Authority and Crown Office &amp; Procurator Fiscal Service will soon release a tender for a framework for the uplift and transportation of deceased persons. To support SMEs in bidding for this opportunity, we are providing three free tender training sessions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdpscotland.co.uk\/events\/12-introduction-to-pcs-and-the-espd-police-scotland-876\/\">Inverness<\/a> in December for the Highlands and Islands<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdpscotland.co.uk\/events\/12-introduction-to-pcs-and-the-espd-police-scotland-890\/\">Glasgow<\/a> in January 2020 for the West of Scotland<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdpscotland.co.uk\/events\/12-introduction-to-pcs-and-the-espd-police-scotland-889\/\">Perth<\/a>, also in January 2020, for the East of Scotland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>2.2. Finding and understanding framework opportunities and South Ayrshire Council Taxi Service framework<\/h4>\n<p>Frameworks are an integral part of public procurement and can be a lucrative source of business. However, it\u2019s essential to understand the agreement. Scheduled for 10 December, this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdpscotland.co.uk\/events\/22-finding-and-understanding-framework-opportunities-and-south-ayrshire-council-taxi-service-framework-26\/\">workshop<\/a> will introduce the South Ayrshire Council Taxi Service framework opportunity and explain how to apply.<\/p>\n<h4>Webinar: Glasgow City Region City Deal Cenefits training for suppliers<\/h4>\n<p>Suppliers of City Deal contracts to the eight Glasgow City Region (GCR) Councils can take part in this free <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdpscotland.co.uk\/events\/webinar-glasgow-city-region-cenefits-training-for-suppliers-882\/\">webinar<\/a> on 10 December. It will teach how to use the <a href=\"https:\/\/cenefits.com\/\">Cenefits<\/a>\u00a0online application. The application simplifies and enhances the monitoring, reporting and management of the delivery of community benefits under all of its GCR City Deal contracts.<\/p>\n<p>From now until the end of 2019, there are 24 events (and counting!) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdpscotland.co.uk\/events\/\">listed on the SDP website<\/a> that Scottish-based SMEs and supported businesses can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdpscotland.co.uk\/events\/\">register to attend<\/a>.
