Ben Macpherson MSP, Minister for Public Finance and Migration, has published an open letter<\/a> urging landlords and tenants to utilise the new code of practice for commercial property relationships.<\/p>\n

Aimed at the commercial property sector the objective of the voluntary code is to provide the right support to those in the chain of commercial property payments – from customers to tenant businesses, commercial landlords and lenders – so that our economy can swiftly and sustainably recover.<\/p>\n

The code\u2019s principles have the support of many representative bodies, from both the landlords\u2019 and tenants\u2019 perspectives, including the: Scottish Property Federation, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Scottish Retail Consortium and Federation of Small Businesses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
