{"id":216,"date":"2017-11-13T12:47:27","date_gmt":"2017-11-13T12:47:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/public-procurement\/?p=216"},"modified":"2018-06-25T10:32:41","modified_gmt":"2018-06-25T09:32:41","slug":"join-our-web-conference-on-the-dynamic-purchasing-system-dps-for-digital-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/public-procurement\/2017\/11\/13\/join-our-web-conference-on-the-dynamic-purchasing-system-dps-for-digital-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Join our web-conference on the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Digital Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our\u00a0ICT Services and Software team are hosting a buyer web-conference on the recently awarded national <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gov.scot\/Topics\/Government\/Procurement\/directory\/itms\/DynamicPurchasingSystem\">Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Digital Services<\/a> on Thursday 7\u00a0December at 10:30am.<\/p>\n<p>The DPS was recently <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/public-procurement\/2017\/10\/26\/our-cabinet-secretary-launches-new-dynamic-purchasing-system-for-digital-services\/\">launched by the Cabinet Secretary<\/a>\u00a0at the Scottish Government\u00a0national procurement\u00a0conference last month. The DPS is a new and exciting procurement model and an innovative new system for the Scottish public sector to use.<\/p>\n<h2>What is the web-conference about?<\/h2>\n<p>We want to take this opportunity to show how the system works and how you can drive real benefit from it.<\/p>\n<p>There has been significant interest in the DPS from the supply market with over 270 suppliers currently across the three lots which cover; Digital Projects, Digital Resources and Cyber Security Services. We are keen to get your views\u00a0before and during the web-conference and we\u00a0will\u00a0try to cover\u00a0most of these\u00a0during the presentation.<\/p>\n<h2>How to get involved<\/h2>\n<p>The buyer web-conference\u00a0will take place on Thursday 7 December at 10.30am and will last about 45 minutes. It is open to anybody within the Scottish public sector (procurement, digital, ICT, project management, cyber and so on).
