A recent case study published by Canon further highlights the additional benefits that can be achieved through using Scottish Procurement\u2019s framework agreements.<\/p>\n

Canon formed a strategic partnership with East Lothian Council to agree on how best to enable a fleet refresh of the Council\u2019s printing services. The aim was to better optimise performance which enabled them to increase their cost control and reduce IT overheads to generate further cost savings of 26%.<\/p>\n

The transformation to digital services produced continuous service improvement, improved levels of end-user experience and a sustainable total cost of ownership and a multi-level partnership across the Corporate and Education estates.<\/p>\n

The strategic partnership has also provided community benefits such as the Employability Skills and Community Programmes in which East Lothian Council have shared employability skills, supported by Canon\u2019s locally based team. Both programmes align with the Developing the Young Workforce (DYW)<\/a> which includes help with CV preparation, interview techniques and training, business knowledge and access to Canon\u2019s online digital training courses.<\/p>\n
