We\u2019re really proud of all we achieved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National public sector survey &#8211; we contacted all public sector bodies in Scotland to find out how many new entrants there are in public sector procurement and received over 100 responses.<\/li>\n<li>We established the PPoT Working Group. It\u2019s made up of ex and current Modern Apprentices and graduates to continue the work of PPoT \u2013 promoting procurement as a career choice and supporting new entrants across the public and private sectors.<\/li>\n<li>We had our own stand at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.procurexlive.co.uk\/scotland\/\">Procurex 2017<\/a> and even hosted a breakout session to discuss how to retain talent and network with peers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What\u2019s in store for 2018?<\/h2>\n<p>We\u2019ve got loads of exciting work planned for the coming year, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creating a procurement school and career advisors pack<\/li>\n<li>Building a PPoT website<\/li>\n<li>More engagement with the private sector<\/li>\n<li>More peer networking<\/li>\n<li>Promotion of procurement graduate and Modern Apprenticeship schemes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What is PPoT?<\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s a Scotland-wide partnership programme involving both the public and private sector.
