Then this opportunity could be for you!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On 27 January, we will host an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdpscotland.co.uk\/events\/open-supplier-meeting-for-the-future-national-civil-engineering-framework-for-works-associated-services-including-roads-roads-maintenance-1274\/\">Open Supplier Meeting<\/a> for the future National Civil Engineering Framework (for Works &amp; Associated Services, including Roads &amp; Roads Maintenance).<\/p>\n<p>This significant event is the initial public engagement for this new collaborative construction framework.<\/p>\n<p>Contractors of all sizes are welcome to attend including Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 as well as SMEs, Supported Businesses and third-sector organisations interested in finding out more about being part of the supply chain.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdpscotland.co.uk\/events\/open-supplier-meeting-for-the-future-national-civil-engineering-framework-for-works-associated-services-including-roads-roads-maintenance-1274\/\">The virtual event will be hosted by the Supplier Development Programme from 2pm \u2013 3.30pm, on Thursday 27 January 2022.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The event will be opened by Nick Ford, Director of Scottish Procurement and Property. Other speakers will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Morag Angus, Head of Property and Construction and Chief Surveyor for Scotland<\/li>\n<li>Graham Porteous, Head of the Scottish Government Construction Procurement Policy Unit<\/li>\n<li>Colin Bell and Brendan Little from the Scottish Government\u2019s Collaborative Construction Team<\/li>\n<li>Jamie Kennedy from Transport Scotland<\/li>\n<li>Robert Ogg from Robertson<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, we have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alistair Kerr, British Association of Supported Employment (BASE) outlining what Supported Businesses can offer and<\/li>\n<li>Gillian Cameron, Supplier Development Programme on how they can assist Scottish SMEs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We want public procurement in Scotland to be #OpenAndConnected \u2013 hence this event is the perfect opportunity to have your say and ask questions. We\u2019d like to hear the initial thoughts and views from contractors in being a Framework Supplier or being part of the supply chain for subsequent civil engineering projects.<\/p>\n<p><a
