{"id":337,"date":"2018-02-09T14:52:11","date_gmt":"2018-02-09T14:52:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/public-procurement\/?p=337"},"modified":"2018-02-09T14:52:11","modified_gmt":"2018-02-09T14:52:11","slug":"lift-off-for-dynamic-purchasing-system-dps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/public-procurement\/2018\/02\/09\/lift-off-for-dynamic-purchasing-system-dps\/","title":{"rendered":"Lift off for Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gov.scot\/Topics\/Government\/Procurement\/directory\/itms\/DynamicPurchasingSystem\">Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Digital Services<\/a> has got off to a great start with the first set of call-off contracts all being awarded to SMEs.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/public-procurement\/2017\/10\/26\/our-cabinet-secretary-launches-new-dynamic-purchasing-system-for-digital-services\/\">DPS was launched in October 2017<\/a> and allows organisations to run electronic tenders\u00a0for the delivery of Digital Services within 3 lots:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Digital Projects<\/li>\n<li>Digital Resources<\/li>\n<li>Cyber Security Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Denis McFadden, Senior Portfolio Manager of the ICT Collaborative Team, said &#8220;The DPS is proving to be extremely popular and we are delighted that the first contracts are being awarded to SMEs.\u00a0A\u00a0considerable number of opportunities are\u00a0being tendered under the DPS that will come to completion over the next few weeks and months.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>What could the DPS do for you?<\/h2>\n<p>If you are a public sector consumer of Digital Services then the\u00a0DPS might have just the solution you&#8217;re looking for.
