The countdown to Scotland\u2019s largest free procurement event is on. The 16th<\/sup> annual Meet the Buyer National is set to return to Murrayfield Stadium on Wednesday 4 June 2025, from 9:30am to 3:30pm.<\/p>\n

Meet the Buyer National is hosted by the Supplier Development Programme and partnered by Scottish Government and Scotland Excel.<\/p>\n

Why should you attend?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This in-person event provides Scottish businesses with an opportunity to connect with public sector buyers and private sector main contractors, to discuss contract and supply chain opportunities.<\/p>\n

Meet the Buyer National is the perfect place for suppliers to discover how they can win their share of Scotland\u2019s \u00a316 billion annual public sector procurement spend.<\/p>\n

Who\u2019s exhibiting?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Public sector exhibitors at Meet the Buyer will include Headline Partners Scottish Government and Scotland Excel. In addition, buyers from hub East Central Scotland, PfH, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT), Police Scotland, and Historic Environment Scotland will be in attendance.<\/p>\n

Additionally, we are delighted to announce the return of the NHS Health Zone, which will feature Zone Sponsors NHS National Services Scotland, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, among others.<\/p>\n

Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, City of Edinburgh, Dumfries and Galloway, East Dunbartonshire, East Lothian, East Renfrewshire, Falkirk, Fife, Glasgow City, Inverclyde and Renfrewshire Councils are also already confirmed to attend.<\/p>\n

Private sector exhibitors will include Athlon, Bumblebee EV, Ogilvie Construction, Robertson Facilities Management, and Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd.<\/p>\n

Buyers will be on their stands ready to answer suppliers\u2019 questions and discuss their pipeline of work. Business support bodies will also be on hand, including the Supplier Development Programme, Police CyberAlarm and Scottish Enterprise, with more exhibitors soon to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

Discover contract and Quick Quote opportunities<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With a diverse range of exhibitors, Meet the Buyer National allows visitors to find out about different types of upcoming contracts and discuss Quick Quote opportunities with the Buyers.<\/p>\n

To win a Quick Quote, suppliers must first make their business visible to buyers, so face to face networking at Meet the Buyer National provides the perfect chance to pitch ideas and raise your profile.<\/p>\n

Keynote sessions<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Alongside the exhibition, the event will include keynote sessions from experts offering hints and tips to get tender ready.<\/p>\n

During these sessions, visitors can put their questions to speakers using the live Q&A on the Meet the Buyer National app and leave feedback on its polls.<\/p>\n

To get ready for Meet the Buyer National, businesses must first register with the Supplier Development Programme<\/a>.<\/p>\n
