This strengthens and reiterates our commitment to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and third sector organisations as well as setting out how we continue collaborating with industry and the wider public sector in Scotland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>A year of progress<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our working group have been meeting regularly to drive forward the actions in the plan.<\/p>\n<p>We have been collaborating and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand how we can leverage the full power of procurement to support SMEs and third sector Procurement Strategy for Scotland\u2019s vision is \u2018putting public procurement at the heart of a sustainable economy to maximise value for the people of Scotland\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Action Plan supports the implementation of this strategy as part of its \u2018Good for Businesses and their Employees\u2019 objective.<\/p>\n<p>The importance of feedback forms the basis of this action plan \u2013 and it is built on a history of listening to industry using a we said, we did approach.<\/p>\n<p>The plan is split into three themes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>oversight and communications<\/li>\n<li>policy and practice<\/li>\n<li>systems and tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can read about the progress being made in the <a
