The current Network Enablement Services <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gov.scot\/Topics\/Government\/Procurement\/directory\/Telecoms\/swannes\">framework agreement<\/a> is due to expire in October 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The scope of the new collaborative arrangement is still being developed, however the broad scope is expected to focus on the provision of vendor neutral technical network advice, support with network estates and the resulting enablement of these network services. Vendor neutral technical advice will include areas such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>network security<\/li>\n<li>suggestions for improved energy consumption and efficiency across an organisation&#8217;s network<\/li>\n<li>support of internet of things (IoT) network integration<\/li>\n<li>support of uinified communications (UC) network integration<\/li>\n<li>audit and analysis of network services<\/li>\n<li>network infrastructure project management<\/li>\n<li>network upgrades<\/li>\n<li>support in procurement of network services<\/li>\n<li>migration of existing network services<\/li>\n<li>network solution design<\/li>\n<li>implementation of new network services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is potential to have a single or, if required, a multi lot arrangement.
