{"id":6484,"date":"2026-02-25T10:15:06","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T10:15:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/public-procurement\/?p=6484"},"modified":"2026-02-25T10:15:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T10:15:06","slug":"telephony-and-communication-services-dynamic-purchasing-system-extension","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/public-procurement\/2026\/02\/25\/telephony-and-communication-services-dynamic-purchasing-system-extension\/","title":{"rendered":"Telephony and Communication Services &#8211; Dynamic Purchasing System extension"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.scot\/publications\/telephony-communications-services-dynamic-purchasing-system\/\">Telephony and Communication Services \u2013 Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)<\/a> has been extended for a further 24 months and the DPS will now expire on 27 March 2028.<\/p>\n<p>The DPS offers the Scottish public sector a straight-forward route to market for a wide\u00a0range of telephony and communication services. The DPS comprises two lots.<\/p>\n<p>Lot 1 offers a wide range of services including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>traditional telephony<\/li>\n<li>IP telephony<\/li>\n<li>broadband<\/li>\n<li>telephony software services<\/li>\n<li>contact centre<\/li>\n<li>unified communications and maintenance<\/li>\n<li>support services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lot 2 offers the same services available in Lot 1 but also includes mobile voice and data services. This allows public sector organisations to fulfil all their telephony and communication needs in a single procurement.<\/p>\n<p>All suppliers pay the real living wage to all staff delivering services via this DPS as a minimum.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this extension, a refresh of all current suppliers is being carried out to ensure suppliers retain the minimum qualifying criteria, have up-to-date contact details, and wish to remain as a supplier.<\/p>\n<p>The current supplier list can be found on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.scot\/publications\/telephony-communications-services-dynamic-purchasing-system\/\">website<\/a> and this will be updated periodically.
