{"id":6513,"date":"2026-03-19T08:56:24","date_gmt":"2026-03-19T08:56:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/public-procurement\/?p=6513"},"modified":"2026-03-19T08:56:24","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T08:56:24","slug":"circular-procurement-and-supply-elearning-renewed-and-refreshed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/public-procurement\/2026\/03\/19\/circular-procurement-and-supply-elearning-renewed-and-refreshed\/","title":{"rendered":"Circular Procurement and Supply eLearning Renewed and Refreshed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re pleased to announce the launch of the renewed and refreshed <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainableprocurementtools.scot\/index.cfm\/elearning\/circular-procurement-and-supply\/\">Circular Procurement and Supply eLearning<\/a>, designed to help buyers and suppliers understand their role in mobilising procurement and supply in the transition to a Circular Economy and Net Zero.<\/p>\n<p>This new eLearning resource complements existing guidance and forms part of a broader set of tools, including Climate Literacy eLearning and practical case studies, all available through the Sustainable Procurement Tools platform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s inside the eLearning?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The refreshed eLearning follows a clear structure with modules focusing on <strong>what<\/strong> circular procurement is, <strong>why<\/strong> it is important, and <strong>how<\/strong> it can be embedded into procurement and supply.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>what is Circular Procurement?<\/strong> \u2013 Circular Economy, Circular Procurement and Supply<\/li>\n<li><strong>why is it important?<\/strong> \u2013 Legislation and Policy, Benefits<\/li>\n<li><strong>how can it be embedded in practice?<\/strong> \u2013 Enablers to Circular Procurement, Sourcing, Contract Management and examples<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each module can be completed independently, with the full package taking approximately two hours.<\/p>\n<p>These are designed for buyers and suppliers in the Scottish Public sector.
