Discover the zones at Meet the Buyer 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Calling all Scottish SMEs \u2013 find your next customer at the Supplier Development Programme\u2019s National Meet the Buyer event, on Tuesday 2 June 2026, from 10am to 3pm, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event will see industry specific zones that bring together key players from four different sectors, making it easier for suppliers to find relevant contract or supply chain opportunities.<\/p>\n

What are the zones?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The featured zones will include construction, education, health and transport. Within each zone, attendees will have access to key buyers and decision makers from across the industry.<\/p>\n

Each organisation will be on hand to educate suppliers on upcoming pipeline projects, contract or supply chain opportunities, and any requirements they may have for potential suppliers.<\/p>\n

Construction Zone<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Construction Zone, sponsored by Supply Connect, will highlight upcoming building and infrastructure projects in Scotland, helping SMEs understand where opportunities are and how to get involved.<\/p>\n

Construction industry suppliers will have the opportunity to engage with over 10 organisations that are actively seeking suppliers for major construction projects, or that can provide industry specific business support.<\/p>\n

Education Zone<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Education Zone, sponsored by Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC), will focus on contract opportunities in the higher Education Zone.<\/p>\n

In addition to learning about APUC\u2019s framework opportunities and contracts across all of Scotland\u2019s university and college campuses, attendees will be able to network with buyers from Glasgow Caledonian University.<\/p>\n

Health Zone<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Health Zone, sponsored by Public Services Delivery Scotland (formerly NHS National Services Scotland) will showcase opportunities across Scotland\u2019s healthcare sector, for goods, works and service supplies.<\/p>\n

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with buyers from Public Services Delivery Scotland, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, NHS Golden Jubilee, and more.<\/p>\n

Transport Zone<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Transport Zone, sponsored by Department for Transport, will highlight upcoming infrastructure and service projects across Scotland and the UK\u2019s transport network. Covering opportunities from rail and road to aviation and maritime, this zone will help suppliers find and access opportunities.<\/p>\n

Attendees can explore upcoming projects in Scotland with Glasgow Airport, ScotRail, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport, and Transport Scotland or opportunities across the UK with Department for Transport, HS2, Maritime and Coastguard Agency, National Highways, Network Rail and Northern Lighthouse Board.<\/p>\n

How to register<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over 2,000 suppliers have registered to attend. Have you? Don\u2019t miss Scotland\u2019s largest free procurement event, hosted by the Supplier Development Programme (SDP) and partnered by Scottish Government and Scotland Excel.<\/p>\n
