{"id":799,"date":"2018-10-04T16:11:38","date_gmt":"2018-10-04T15:11:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/public-procurement\/?p=799"},"modified":"2018-11-05T10:09:21","modified_gmt":"2018-11-05T10:09:21","slug":"ojeu-contract-notice-to-establish-a-dynamic-purchasing-system-dps-for-network-advice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/public-procurement\/2018\/10\/04\/ojeu-contract-notice-to-establish-a-dynamic-purchasing-system-dps-for-network-advice\/","title":{"rendered":"OJEU contract notice to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Network Advice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Scottish Procurement are delighted to announce that we have issued an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk\/search\/show\/search_view.aspx?ID=OCT333245\">OJEU<\/a> contract notice to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Network Advice.<\/p>\n<p>The Network Advice DPS is a collaborative system available for all Scottish public sector bodies to use.<\/p>\n<p>The scope of the DPS is to provide a wide range of network advice and it is open for any supplier that can provide these services to apply to join.<\/p>\n<p>Because the scope for network advice is wide and diverse, it isn\u2019t possible to list all the types envisaged &#8211; but some examples may include areas such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Network security<\/li>\n<li>Improved energy consumption and efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Support of internet of things (IoT) network integration<\/li>\n<li>Support of Unified Communications (UC) network integration<\/li>\n<li>Audit and analysis of network services<\/li>\n<li>Network infrastructure project management<\/li>\n<li>Network upgrades<\/li>\n<li>Support in the procurement of network services<\/li>\n<li>Migration of existing network services<\/li>\n<li>Advice on network solution and design and implementation of new network services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is no limit to the number of suppliers that can participate in the DPS, and suppliers can join at any time during its lifetime.
