The Supplier Journey<\/a> is the first of its kind \u2013 an innovative, free, online resource to help all suppliers who would like to work on Scottish public sector contracts. What\u2019s more \u2013 it\u2019s open and accessible to suppliers around the world.<\/p>\n

It was launched in June 2018 with stakeholders involved at every stage of the project \u2013 from over 2,600 suppliers offering their views through a targeted survey at the outset, to forums and working groups reviewing and agreeing recommendations at the later stages.<\/p>\n

The Supplier Journey answers the main questions that public sector suppliers have in an easy to understand format using plain English. It is updated continually to meet legislation or policy changes and promotes best practice and consistency.<\/p>\n

Scottish Government is committed to working smarter and more efficiently and the Supplier Journey is helping us achieve that \u2013 information can be accessed 24 hours a day, and queried and updated without additional resources or cost. Over 4,000 users have visited the site since its launch, from over 66 countries \u2013 exceeding expectations on a global scale.<\/p>\n
