The CGPSS strategy is to support the Scottish Public Sector Reform programme, by encouraging collaboration, sharing knowledge and best practice, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations, and delivering cost savings and wider benefits for partners.<\/p>\n

It was developed in consultation with the Scottish Government Procurement Capability Group, potential Central Government partners and the Scottish Government Legal Department with the principles of collaboration and collective governance at its core.<\/p>\n

Delivered by experienced procurement specialists and tailored to the partner\u2019s requirements, our service includes:<\/p>\n

\u2022 end to end procurements which comply with procurement best practice\/EU legislation
\n\u2022 supplementing skill gaps and workload peaks
\n\u2022 ensuring compliant governance documentation is in place<\/p>\n

We\u2019re also proud of a long list of successes since April 2015, including:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Training delivered to over 500 people
\n\u2022 228 contracts awarded with a total value of \u00a398 million
\n\u2022 7% cash savings of \u00a37 million (exceeding our 5% target)
\n\u2022 31% of our contracts awarded to SMEs<\/p>\n
