The Scottish Government, through it&#8217;s enterprise agency Scottish Enterprise, provided a \u00a31.3 million grant to develop the centre. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Speaking from the site, Ms Forbes\u00a0<span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">said: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u201cScotland has a thriving food and drink sector with salmon exports alone growing by 35 per cent during 2017, recognising the global reputation for our quality produce.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><i><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">\u201cEnsuring that the sector <\/span><\/i><i><span lang=\"GD\" style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">grows in a <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\">sustainable<\/span><\/i><i><span lang=\"GD\" style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\"> way<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\"> remains a priority for us.
