Under stamp duty they would have paid \u00a31,300<\/li>\n<li>A couple buying a flat at \u00a3140,000 would now pay tax of \u00a3100 &#8211; saving \u00a31,300 against stamp duty<\/li>\n<li>A family buying a \u00a3260,000 home would save \u00a34,500 in tax.
