Today I welcomed eight new members to the Board:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Philip Grant, Managing Director, Lloyds Banking Group<\/li>\n<li>Mark Little, Managing Director, Barclays Wealth<\/li>\n<li>Ian Macmillan, Managing Director, JP Morgan<\/li>\n<li>Angus Macpherson, Head of Investment Banking, Espirito Santo<\/li>\n<li>David Fleming, National Officer, Unite<\/li>\n<li>Barry Muir, Vice President, State Street<\/li>\n<li>David Nish, Chief Executive, Standard Life<\/li>\n<li>Prof. Seamus McDaid, Convener, Universities Scotland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>FiSAB really is a unique partnership between the industry, the government, wider public sector, and<br \/>\nthe unions. Over the year its work has been invaluable in strengthen Scotland&#8217;s position as a centre<br \/>\nfor financial services in the face of a global economic downturn. Through the work of our enterprise<br \/>\nagencies and FiSAB Scotland continues to secure new investment from the biggest names in<br \/>\nfinancial services \u2013 State Street, BNY Mellon and Virgin Money, being some of our most recent<br \/>\nsuccess stories.
