The 2018\/19 Programme for Government includes a commitment to invest an additional \u00a320million over three years to grow Scotland\u2019s export potential.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To support this ambition, I am seeking new members to join Scotland\u2019s Trade Board. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2017, the board, which is made up of a wide range of business experts, has championed the internationalisation of Scottish businesses, helping find practical ways of boosting the country\u2019s export performance. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And with export performance being central to Scotland\u2019s trading potential, I want to do everything in my power to see even more Scottish products and services in even more markets.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am committed to ensuring that businesses in Scotland feel able and supported to embark on their export journey. I also believe that businesses who have experience of exporting are those best placed to advise government on how this can best be done \u2013 this is the role of my Trade Board. <\/span><\/p>\n

Joining the board provides business experts with a unique experience to drive a step change in Scotland\u2019s export performance \u2013 and to contribute to the future of both our economy and our country. I would encourage those with expertise in internationalising businesses to consider being part of this ambition.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
