{"id":4019,"date":"2019-07-03T15:02:10","date_gmt":"2019-07-03T14:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/scotlands-economy\/?p=4019"},"modified":"2019-07-03T15:02:10","modified_gmt":"2019-07-03T14:02:10","slug":"trade-and-investment-minister-visits-china-day-two","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gov.scot\/scotlands-economy\/2019\/07\/03\/trade-and-investment-minister-visits-china-day-two\/","title":{"rendered":"Trade and Investment Minister visits China &#8211; Day Two"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span lang=\"EN\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Arial\">Trade and Investment Minister Ivan McKee is visiting China this week to promote the growing economic, cultural and educational links between Scotland and the world\u2019s second largest economy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">On the second day of his visit, Mr McKee undertook a series of engagements meeting with China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), China\u2019s largest mobile transportation platform DiDi and the British Chambers of Commerce in China. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Arial\">The Minister also attended a Scotland Food and Drink Showcase <span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">to b<\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">uild key relationships and raise awareness of <\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">Scotland\u2019s strengths in the food and drink industry.
