VisitScotland has just published their Scotland Visitor Survey, which shows 98% of visitors to Scotland are likely to recommend the country to others, and a further 84% planning to make a return trip in the next five years.<\/p>\n
These results are testament to the quality, strength and work of Scotland\u2019s tourism industry and suggesting high levels of satisfaction amongst people who holiday here. They build on new statistics published earlier this month, which showScotland\u2019s tourism industry is strengthening. In the first nine months of 2011 we saw an eight per cent increase in visitors\u00a0to Scotland.<\/p>\n
\u00a0This is an exciting time for tourism in Scotland as we have many major events and milestones to look forward to, including the release of Disney-Pixar\u2019s Brave\u00a0 this year, the Ryder Cup and the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
