Those two employers provide a substantial portion of skilled jobs in the region, and are a vital part of the local economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn response, the Scottish Government has called an emergency economic summit, with the aim to get as many organisations and people with influence as possible to work together to come up with potential solutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the meantime we will continue to work with CS Wind UK to do all we can to support the company to secure future work for the site.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An economic forum is being held in Campbeltown to explore development opportunities following the announcement of possible redundancies at two of the town\u2019s biggest employers.
