We will use this blog to keep you up-to-date on important announcements about Government official statistics, our publications and consultations, events and vacancies or appointments. Over time we expect that this will replace the ScotStat push email system we have used to promote our work.

We do not moderate this in advance so any comments you make will appear in the blog automatically and so are available to the public. We will read and monitor comments made during office hours, Monday to Friday.
