Scottish Building Standards Hub – May 2024 Update

The Hub will continue to work closely with Local Authority Building Standards Scotland (LABSS) and Building Standards Division (BSD) to strengthen the Building Standards system. Scottish Building Standards Hub

As part of the Future Board Programme to strengthen the building standards system in Scotland, the Scottish Government, in partnership with LABSS and Fife Council, will be launching Scottish Building Standards Hub from May 2024 following a successful two year pilot phase.

Building Warrant Fee Increases 2024

Building warrant fees will increase from 1 April 2024 following a Public Consultation in 2023. Fees are being increased to support the changes being introduced to strengthen the building standards system through the work of the Futures Board programme.

Building Standards Futures Board: Verification Delivery Model – Building Standards Hub Pilot
